Dr. Jaime Garcia

General Manager

Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the Institute for Surgical Technology and Biomechanics, University of Bern (Switzerland).

During the past decade, Jaime has been particularly active in the fields of computer vision, video games, virtual reality, medical technology and computer-assisted surgery. He brings his experience vision in the field of aesthetic surgery to develop Crisalix as an internationally-oriented, unique and innovative company. Jaime received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, from the Institute of Surgical and Biomechanics University of Bern and a Masters degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Spain.

Fabian Wyss

Sales and Marketing Director

Postgraduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (MBF), Masters and Bachelor of Science (MSc) in Marketing from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) – HEC faculty.

As a young entrepreneur, Fabian Wyss brings his expertise in the successful development of companies and innovative projects. Strongly oriented towards marketing, Fabian is a visionary with strong international experience. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in 1998 as Associate MBA. Fabian holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (MBF), Masters and a Bachelor of Science (MSc) in Marketing from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) – HEC faculty. Fabian was rewarded, in 1998, the 1st Prize in Banking and Finance of the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva.

Dr. Javier Sanchez

Vice President of engineering

Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) of Lausanne, Switzerland, Research Associate at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA, and a Master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain.

With one decade devoted to medical image processing and analysis projects, Javier brings his wide experience to Crisalix in three main aspects: international training, research and management of multidisciplinary projects. He received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) of Lausanne, Switzerland, and a Master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Spain. He completed his training in advanced research at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA. In the last four years he was Project Leader at Philips Healthcare in Paris, France.

Dr. Pablo de Heras Ciechomski

Head of the 3D Department

Ph.D. in Computer Graphics and Simulation at VRLab, Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (Switzerland) and Masters in Computer Science and Engineering at Lund Institute of Technology.

Pablo brings his solid experience in the field of 3D. He is the founder of the Visualbiotech company providing communication solutions in the research field of life sciences using 3D visual languages. He also developed techniques for automation of new performances, representations and animations. Finally, he was active in the development of demo scenes and in the gaming industry. Pablo obtained his PhD from VRLAB, Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL). He also holds a Master in Computer Science and Engineering from the Lund Technical Institute (LTH), Sweden with a focus on real-time physics applied to game characters in 3D.
