e-Stetix 3D Mammo V4.0 - The first 3D virtual clothes

Crisalix is pleased to announce the release of e-Stetix 3D Mammo v4.0. Please find below the new features and developments.

New Features and Developments

The First 3D Virtual Wardrobe - Your Patient's Life in 3D

After developing the first 3D physical simulator for breast augmentation, Crisalix enables the surgeon to take the consultation to yet another level. With e-Stetix 3D Mammo, surgeons can now offer their patients to not only see their new breasts when naked, but also visualize themselves dressed for any occasion, wearing a turtleneck, a décolleté, bikinis, casual clothes, etc. With this unique feature, surgeons can help the patient project herself into her new life, thereby stimulating greater interest in the upcoming surgery.

Unity for Optimal 3D

Crisalix has implemented Unity to offer you optimal 3D images and browser compatibility. Unity is an integrated tool for creating interactive 3D content, specifically used in architectural visualizations or real-time 3D animations. Contrary to the 03d plug-in employed to date by e-Stetix, Unity runs on any browser you might use.

Past Congresses

During the past month, Crisalix was present at the 12th International Symposium on Plastic Surgery in São Paulo, Brazil, between March 18-20, where Antonio Graziosi, Past President of the Sao Paolo Association for Plastic Surgery, demonstrated how e-Stetix can help select between round and anatomical implants. Crisalix was also present at the 41st Argentinean Congress on Plastic Surgery in Cataratas del Iguazú, between March 30-April 2, the Spring Academy of the German Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons in Potsdam, Germany, between March 31-April 2, and the 9th Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress in Monte Carlo, Monaco, between March 24-26, where Brian Kinney, IPRAS Deputy General Secretary, discussed how e-Stetix offers a unique solution to the entire plastic surgery community which takes into account the physical properties of the patient’s body.

Future Congresses

Come and meet the Crisalix team at booth #351 at the Aesthetic Meeting of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) in Boston between May 6-11; at the National Congress of the Mexican Association for Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery between May 10-14; and at the 23rd National Congress of the Italian Aesthetic Medicine Society between May 6-8. Crisalix will also be present at Polytech’s booths # 601 and 700 at the 16th Congress of the International Confederation for Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS) between May 22-27.

Tip of the month

Implant Catalogue

e-Stetix offers you an extensive Implant Catalogue for optimal planning of the procedure ahead. After e-Stetix generates the 3D reconstruction of your patient’s body based on her individual physical properties, you can select and position any implant, from over 2,500 implants of all major manufacturers, specifying the surgical technique and indicating the skin’s elasticity. This in turn allows the most precise 3D simulations, taking into account the individualities of each patient.

Stay tuned for more exciting news and developments from Crisalix.

I am impressed with the practicality and wealth of possibilities that are offered by this new technology. e-Stetix fills a gap in the planning of breast augmentation by offering a 3D simulation, allowing the surgeon to obtain a pre-surgical prediction of the desired result.

Prof. Gilvani Azor de Oliveira

Chief of Plastic Surgery Department, UFPR

Crisalix is of great value in demonstrating the benefit of the adjustable breast implant.

Hilton Becker, MD

Inventor of the Becker Adjustable Breast Implant

Compared to traditional methods such as bra and sizers or even morphing by computer simulation, this is a fantastic revolution for the patient as well as for the surgeon.

Jan Poëll, MD

President of International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, ISAPS
