What led me to Crisalix?

I always found it challenging to clearly communicate to patients what their postoperative results would actually look like, whether for breast, body, or facial procedures. Explaining outcomes verbally or using generic before-and-after photos was often not enough for patients to fully understand what could be achieved in their specific case.

I wanted a way to give patients a realistic, personalized preview of their results and to build stronger confidence from the very beginning of the consultation.

The challenges before Crisalix

Consultations were often longer and less efficient because patients struggled to understand concepts like implant sizes or surgical changes, even when using traditional tools such as implant sizers. Questions about what 200cc, 300cc, or 400cc would actually look like on their body often led to repeated discussions and additional consultations.

Patients also relied heavily on before-and-after photos of other people, which made it harder to relate the results to their own body. This created uncertainty and slowed down the decision-making process.

How Crisalix fits into my consultation process

Today, the process is much more streamlined. Patients can often provide photos in advance so their 3D simulation is ready before the consultation, while others are captured quickly in the clinic.

During the consultation, I combine clinical evaluation with the Crisalix simulation to show different implant sizes, explain what is safe for their anatomy, and demonstrate potential outcomes in real time. Patients also receive access to their images so they can review them independently after the consultation.

The impact on communication and conversion

The impact on my practice has been significant. Communication has improved dramatically, as patients now clearly understand what their results could look like.
