I was very anxious before my consultation and unsure about what size or outcome I wanted, but Dr Omar Quaba immediately put me at ease. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, listens carefully, and was never dismissive or pressuring. He talked through my options with real consideration and gave clear, thoughtful advice on sizing. The 3D visualisations were really valuable. Seeing potential results on photos of my own body from different angles gave me a much clearer sense of what might look most natural and what the possible outcome could be. I left feeling confident in his expertise. My only remaining hesitation is simply natural nerves about the operation itself, so I plan to have a second consultation to go over a few more questions.

I am a fully accredited plastic surgeon and am on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. I was appointed as an NHS Consultant in 2011 at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee and left my NHS post in 2020 to concentrate purely on private practice.
I grew up in Edinburgh and went on to study medicine at Cambridge University, where I also obtained a BA honours degree in Medical Ethics, Psychology and the History of Medicine.
My specialist training was carried out in Aberdeen and at the Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit in Glasgow. In 2011 I spent a year on a fellowship in Australia at the world-renowned Royal Adelaide Hospital.
I have an interest in all aspects of cosmetic surgery, and I am one of a few surgeons in the UK to have completed voluntary Cosmetic Certification by the Royal College of Surgeons. I am certified in all aspects of Cosmetic Surgery and am a full member of BAPRAS and ISAPS.
