Wanting to improve consultations

I introduced Crisalix into my consultation process because I wanted to improve how patients experience consultations and better understand their potential results.

In cosmetic surgery, especially breast procedures, it is essential that patients have a clear idea of what to expect. I was looking for a way to make that process more visual, engaging, and easier to understand, while also improving communication within my team.

When traditional sizing methods were still part of consultations

Until Crisalix became part of the consultation process, we relied on traditional methods such as implant sizers placed inside a bra. While this gave patients a rough idea, it was not very precise and often felt unnatural.

Patients had difficulty translating that experience into what their actual results would look like after surgery. It was also harder to compare options or have detailed discussions about different sizes and outcomes.

The process was less efficient and less satisfying for both patients and staff.

Crisalix in practice

We now use Crisalix to create realistic simulations of the patient’s body with different implant sizes and options. During consultations, we review these images together and discuss what aligns best with their goals.

Patients can also take these simulations home and share them with family and friends, extending the consultation beyond the clinic. This makes the process more collaborative and helps patients feel more involved in their decision-making.

The impact on patients and the practice

The patient experience has improved significantly. Patients are more engaged, more confident, and more satisfied with their decisions.

From a business perspective, we have seen an increase in patient volume and overall satisfaction. The ability to clearly show results reduces uncertainty and improves decision-making. Even the staff enjoys using the platform due to the strong positive response from patients.
