Dr. Killeen has gone above and beyond in explaining, discussing and supporting me and my husband through the process of breast reconstruction before and after double mastectomy. I could’ve found a better Doctor and the team of specialists that work with her. I’m extremely grateful and happy with the results of my reconstruction. Dr. Killeen is efficient, knowledgeable and a perfectionist who delivers superior results.

Words cannot adequately convey my gratitude for the experience I have had with Dr. Kelly Killeen and her amazing team. Dr. Killeen is not simply an incredibly talented surgeon, she is also a warm, caring and compassionate practitioner who takes the time to understand your goals and answer your questions. Her bedside manner is phenomenal—warm, reassuring, and confident in a way that is comforting and puts you at ease. The entire team, from the anesthesiologist, PAs, nurses and front office associates, operates with the same level of professionalism, care and kindness. Due to multiple cervical spine issues and surgeries, I have had to wait 15 years to undergo breast reduction surgery and was beginning to think it might be better to just throw in the towel on the thought. However, I am so glad I took a chance on a consultation and subsequent surgery with Dr. Killeen. The surgery wound up being much easier than I anticipated and my post operative pain is more minimal than I expected. Plus Dr. Killeen’s use of the Crisalix 3D imaging technology provided me with a visual of what could actually be accomplished with surgery and it really helped solidify my decision to move forward. I’m still in the early stages of my recovery (one week out) but so far my expectations, and experience are better than I could have ever imagined. If you are looking for a surgeon who is skilled, caring, and supported by an amazing staff, Dr. Killeen is the absolute best. I feel blessed being cared for by her and her team, and my post surgical care one week out has been exceptional. Someone from Dr. Killeen team has been in contact with me daily. My only regret is that I did not do this sooner.

Tomorrow is my first week post-op appointment, so I really am unable to see the results amnd know that even then, it will be some time before being able to ascertain final reults. The photos before and then "after" simulations were extremely helpful. It was especially reassuring to my husband and I could visualize and give positive feedback that I would hope the breast reduction results would be as pictured. Dr. Killeen also (her staff was always kind, respectful and helpful) put me at ease and reasssured me when I was anxious and hesitant about the procedure. Additionally, I was prepared for a lot of discomfort and pain. I've had virtually no pain, just discomfort with bandaging, tubes and swelling, like a bad bruise.
