I felt completely comfortable with her, and the consult had a relaxing, unhurried feel. One comment stuck with me: “It’s not fair for the burden of information and research to fall on the patient. That is the doctor’s responsibility.” I’ve done a lot of my own digging trying to understand things like BII, capsular contracture, long term risk of implants, ect. , so it meant a lot that she addressed common concerns, validated them, and walked me through what the research actually says.
