Why did I start with Crisalix?
One of the most common challenges in my practice was answering a very simple but important question from patients: “What will I actually look like after surgery?”
Patients often asked about differences between implant sizes, such as 300cc versus 400cc, or how specific changes in procedures like rhinoplasty would affect their appearance. Even with detailed explanations, it was difficult for them to visualize the outcome on their own body.
I adopted Crisalix because I needed a tool that could turn these conversations from abstract descriptions into something concrete and personalized.
Before Crisalix…
Consultations relied heavily on verbal communication and general references. Even when I tried to explain differences between procedures or implant sizes in detail, patients often struggled to fully understand what those changes would actually look like on them.
This created uncertainty and sometimes hesitation in moving forward with surgery. Without a clear visual reference, it was more difficult to align expectations and ensure that both the patient and I were truly on the same page.
Using Crisalix during consultations
Today, Crisalix is fully integrated into my consultation workflow. After discussing the patient’s goals and performing a clinical evaluation, we generate personalized simulations based on their own photos.
This allows me to demonstrate different implant sizes, show potential rhinoplasty results, and explore multiple options in real time. Instead of imagining the outcome, patients can visualize it on their own body, making consultations more interactive, engaging, and easier to guide toward the most appropriate choice.
The difference has been significant
Patients now have a much clearer understanding of their options and feel more confident in their decisions.
Consultations are more efficient as many of the most common questions are answered visually rather than verbally. This reduces confusion and helps streamline the entire process.
