VerifiedI was unsure about this procedure as it is a massive life altering surgery. I was put at ease by Niamh as I spoke to her about it prior to my consultation. She was so calming and supportive throughout my journey. I felt reassured and ready for the next step. I went along to my consultation and met my surgeon who had a fantastic bedside manner and is exceptionally knowledgeable. After this visit I was very pleased with the information I received. I understood every step that was involved and what the overall outcome would be for me. They took a few pictures and the next day I received my Crisalix. It was amazing to see what I was compared to what I could be. This really gave me the push forward I needed. I was so happy with the Crisalix, I showed my family and close friends. They all agreed that it was definitely the right decision. Things moved very quickly for me and Niamh was in contact with me throughout the weeks leading up to my surgery. I did not feel nervous or anxious about my surgery as Mr Bahia had explained everything in depth. Bernie called me to complete my pre op and made sure I was ready and prepared for the surgery and the initial recovery period. I had my surgery and I couldn’t be happier. Mr Bahia is a miracle worker. Everything was so good all the staff were supportive and kind. I have had a follow up with Bernie for my post op and I have also been in for a dressing change. The staff at this hospital are outstanding. I couldn’t be happier with the results of my surgery and it is all made possible by the kind and patient staff who really care and support you throughout your journey.
